The latest Boston.com “The Big Picture” series is on Guns.
It’s a collection of 54 powerful images – supporters of gun control, those against; victims and families of victims, gun enthusiasts, and hunters. All with a stake in the current national conversation on guns and gun violence in the United States.
The sample AP photo posted here, number 20 in the series, is of Jimmy Greene and Nelba Marquez-Greene, parents of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victim, Ana Marquez-Greene; and Nicole Hockley, mother of victim Dylan Hockley, during a news conference at Edmond Town Hall in Newtown, Conn., Jan. 14, 2014.
The Big Picture is a photo blog created by a select group of picture editors of The Boston Globe. Entries are posted every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Big Picture is intended to highlight high-quality, amazing imagery, with a focus on current events.
The feature is worth seeing, no matter where you sit in the debate.
